Puerto Magico Continues To Welcome Cruise Ships

Puerto Magico Continues To Welcome Cruise Ships

When Carnival Panorama docked in Puerto Vallarta at the beginning of this week it was great news signifying the return of the cruise ship industry to our port. She will be back next Wednesday, and this is only the start of the return of cruises.

I’ve been told from a friend in the cruise ship industry that over the next couple months 9 different cruise ships will be coming to PV on 30 different cruises. Carnival Panorama starts it all off, as it will dock 4 times in a row, on August 31, September 08, September 15, and September 22. Then, starting in October, Puerto Vallarta will receive several ships each week:

  • Ms. Zuiderdam on September 29
  • Carnival Panorama on September 29
  • Serenade Of The Seas on October 04
  • Radiance Of The Seas on October 05
  • Disney Wonder on October 05
  • Ms. Zuiderdam on October 06
  • Carnival Panorama on October 06
  • Ms. Nieuw Amsterdam on October 11
  • Ms. Zuiderdam on October 13
  • Carnival Panorama on October 13
  • Carnival Panorama on October 20
  • Majestic Princess on October 20
  • Ms. Koningsdam on October 21
  • Carnival Panorama on October 27
  • Norwegian Bliss on October 27
  • Ms. Koningsdam on October 28
  • Celebrity Millennium on October 30
  • Majestic Princess on November 03
  • Carnival Panorama on November 03
  • Ms. Zuiderdam on November 03
  • Norwegian Bliss on November 03
  • Carnival Panorama on November 10
  • Majestic Princess on November 10
  • Norwegian Bliss on November 10
  • Ms. Zuiderdam on November 14
  • Majestic Princess on November 17

Of course Puerto Magico will be welcoming all of the coming tourists on the cruises, but is also wishes to welcome the entire population of the Puerto Vallarta area. Puerto Magico isn’t just a cruise ship terminal that is providing tourists with shops, it is PV’s newest shopping center in the beautiful setting of the cruise ship marina. It’s a place for everyone to hang out, have fun, and do some shopping. There are many tourist shops for souvenirs, but there are also other beautiful shops with artisanal crafts, clothes, accessories, bags, hats, etc. There are even a couple snack places so you can get a drink or some ice cream as you are walking around. Or, you can get world class European-style chocolates from Cacao Magico.

The big open-air area in the center is going to be used for entertainment, which is the same area where the entertainment for Magic Market was used last year. My family would spend every Friday at the Magic Market watching Mexican dancers, a child mariachi group, a mime, live music, and sometimes even dancing horses. And there was always good food. So now that there will be full time shops and restaurants, we will be going regularly, because it’s a fantastic place for everyone.
