Here is a recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce and chicken parmesan.
Ingredient list:
For the sauce
- 6-8 tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 1 celery stick
- 2 cloves of garlic
- salt, pepper, and herbs to taste
For the chicken parmesan
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup parsley
- salt, pepper, and herbs to taste
- flour
- egg
Process:
For the sauce
- Boil and then peel the tomatoes.
- Blend the tomatoes with the onion, celery, and garlic.
- Place the mixture in a pan and simmer until it is reduced to your liking. Add salt, pepper, and herbs.
For the chicken parmesan
- Smash the chicken until it is significantly thinner and cut it into small tender-like shapes. Add salt, pepper, and any other spices you would like, which is very important.
- Dip the chicken into flour, then egg, then a mixture of the parmesan, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
- Once breaded, deep fry the chicken until golden brown or cooked thoroughly.
- Serve with spaghetti and the homemade sauce.
