Chicken Parmesan

Here is a recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce and chicken parmesan.

Ingredient list:

For the sauce

  • 6-8 tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 celery stick
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt, pepper, and herbs to taste

For the chicken parmesan

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • salt, pepper, and herbs to taste
  • flour
  • egg

 

Process:

For the sauce

  1. Boil and then peel the tomatoes.
  2. Blend the tomatoes with the onion, celery, and garlic.
  3. Place the mixture in a pan and simmer until it is reduced to your liking. Add salt, pepper, and herbs.

For the chicken parmesan

  1. Smash the chicken until it is significantly thinner and cut it into small tender-like shapes. Add salt, pepper, and any other spices you would like, which is very important.
  2. Dip the chicken into flour, then egg, then a mixture of the parmesan, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
  3. Once breaded, deep fry the chicken until golden brown or cooked thoroughly.
  4. Serve with spaghetti and the homemade sauce.
