More Gold for Jalisco in Rhythmic Gymnastics

The second day of rhythmic gymnastics of the Conade 2021 Nationals held at the Pan-American Gymnastics Complex concluded with three more gold medals for Jalisco.

11-12 year olds

In the rope category, the winner was the Jalisco Constanza Galindo, with 14.350 points, followed by the Mexican Camila Moreno and Samantha Reyes, from Tamaulipas 

In the ball event, Samantha Reyes won gold with 17.200, leaving silver for Azul Espinosa, from the State of Mexico, and bronze for Camila Moreno, also from Mexico. 

In clubs, the gold also went to Samantha Reyes, with Cinthia Anguiano from Jalisco in second place and Karla Martín del Campo, also from Jalisco, with bronze. 

Finally, the Tamaulipas Samantha Reyes also earned first place in the ribbon category thanks to her 15.200 points. The silver went to Azul Espinosa, from the State of Mexico, and the bronze went to her teammate Camila Moreno. 

Overall finals went to Jalisco, with 25.900. Estado de México earned the silver and Nuevo León obtained bronze. 

In tapes, the gold went to the State of Mexico after a rating of 15.350, followed by Jalisco and Tamaulipas. 

13-15 year olds

The individual all-around had two champions. Sofia Pérez, from Jalisco, and Crista Hernández, from Aguascalientes, took the gold with 72.850. The bronze went to Desireé Portugal from Veracruz. 

Finally, the all-around of teams went to Tamaulipas, thanks to a rating of 53.200, leaving Jalisco with silver and Nayarit with bronze.

Rhythmic gymnastics will end today with the celebration of the individual apparatus finals, in addition to the apparatus finals as a whole for the 13-15 year old category.
