CONADE Nationals Volleyball Concludes with Jalisco Gold in Women’s Senior Youth

On Monday, volleyball teams of Jalisco reached five finals, after playing the semifinal games at both the Ávila Camacho Sports Center and the Joly Ramírez.

Then on Tuesday, the Auriazules teams had the opportunity to fight for five golden medals. 

In the women’s branch of finals held on Monday, in the Junior Youth category the Jalisco team beat its counterpart from Durango 2-0. In the Senior Youth category, the auriazul squad beat Sonora by the same 2-0. Finally, in the Superior Youth category, Jalisco eliminated Chihuahua after winning 2-0, crowning Jalisco champion  of the women's teams.

In the men's branch, things did not reach such a level of perfection, but Jalisco did get to two finals. The first of them, in the Junior Youth category, Jalisco beat the Colima team 2-0. The other final was achieved in the Superior Youth category, where the auriazul team required an extra set to beat Sonora. 

Tuesday concluded the volleyball actions of the Conade 2021 Nationals, played at the Ávila Camacho Sports Center in Guadalajara, and where the Jalisco women’s squad won the glory in the Senior Youth category. 

In this category, the Jalisco women’s team faced Baja California in the final, and it took three sets to account for their opponents, obtaining the victory by two sets to one. The bronze went to Nuevo León. In the men's branch of this category, gold went to Nuevo León, silver to Nayarit, and bronze to Baja California. 

In the Junior Youth category for women, Jalisco obtained silver, on a podium that had Nuevo León in first place and Sonora in third. Another silver for Jalisco came in the Men's Junior Youth, where the Auriazul team was surpassed by Baja California, with Colima taking third place. 

Finally, another two silvers arrived for Jalisco in Juvenil Superior. In the women's branch, Nuevo León got the gold, with Chihuahua as third place on the podium. In the men's branch, Nuevo León repeated at the top of the podium, with Jalisco in second, and Sonora in third place.
