The State Council for Sports Promotion (CODE) in Jalisco, in coordination with the Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta, through the Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE,) summon children and young people from Vallarta to participate in the Sports Talent Detection Program.
The above will take place on June 25 at the facilities of the La Lija sports unit in Cuapanole, starting at 11:00 am, with trained personnel from the Sport Innovation Society Center and CODE Jalisco.
Amador Hernández Madrigal, director of COMUDE, reported that this program represents a great opportunity for the girls and boys of our city, and detailed that for the detection of conventional sport, the age at which they will be performing the tests is from 8 to 16 years, while for adapted sports it will be from 8 to 19 years old.
The children who attend must do so accompanied by a parent or guardian, and wear sports clothing of shorts, shirt, and tennis shoes. Children with a disabilities are also invited to join, be it deafness, cerebral palsy, wheelchair, intellectual deficiency, blind and visually impaired, however it will be necessary to present a copy of the certificate or diagnosis of the disability.
He pointed out that all public and private schools at the primary, secondary, and high school levels are being invited, according to the age ranges described, as well as all the Multiple Attention Centers and clubs of different sports disciplines. He also mentioned that the CODE Jalisco Sports Fair will be held this year.
