In this Roller Coaster La Nina Year we're seeing strange fishing. We have Egg laden Dorado that normally we wouldn't have.
We have Sailfish finally taking baits as are Striped Marlin. Dorado are still in breeding season and are full of eggs. So don't expect any Dorado until further notice, but people have been posting pics as late so from my POV it's still not time for Dorado. But soon once they've laid their eggs, they're going to be really hungry! The Bay and "Action fishing" is working very well with families and experienced anglers alike having a great time on the water. It won't be long now before the water temps should change. But in reality we don't know what we're going to be seeing after a warm winter fishing season. Still, any day on the water is better than "Honey Do's" on your day off!
