Peruvian, Mexican, And USA Flavors Meet At Pancho Villa

Peruvian, Mexican, And USA Flavors Meet At Pancho Villa

Today we went to another one of our favorite places.

Hello, again. My dad and I, and sometimes my mom comes along too, have been going out on the town to find some of the best not so popular cheap eats, mostly family-owned, restaurants that we can find. We go out almost every day, finding some new little place, or big place, to tell you about and review the food and prices.

The past couple days I haven’t been getting many food articles out, but its because we’ve been going to new places we’ve never tried, and I didn’t think they were worthy to be written about. Like, for example, yesterday we went to a Chinese buffet, and I really couldn’t find anything good about it. It was so-so. I wont name them though, because I don’t want to spread negativity, even if the place isn’t great. So, since I had to write something, we decided to go to one of my dad’s favorites, Pancho Villa. Not to be confused with El Jardin de Pancho Villa on the malecon, which is much pricier, and a place all tourists already know about. Pancho Villa is located on Av. Fluvial Vallarta #231, in Fluvial Vallarta. Their longitude latitude location is 20.641734805151657, -105.22914012073669, though they also have delivery and are registered on Uber Eats. Though, if you go to the restaurant in-person and mention Maya sent you, or ask for a Maya special, they’ll give you an extra 20% of chicken wings with any chicken wings order.

Now, Pancho Villa isn’t exactly a cheap eats, though its not expensive! It’s averagely priced, but the food is amazing and totally worth it! They have Peruvian chicken, hamburgers, chicken wings, soups, salads, ribs, steaks, other extras and snacks, and desserts. Everything is super flavorful, their beef is certified angus beef, and their ribs are award winning, and have been featured at Las Adelitas.

My dad and I split a Spanish Fly Burger, since the portions here are huge. The patty on the burger was a combination of chorizo and beef, and then it had pepper jack inside. You may be wondering, what about the veggies? Well, here at Pancho Villa you receive a naked burger, and then get to dress it. Before your food your waiter brings mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup to your table, and there is a salad bar where you can get the vegetables, and the containers are refrigerated, so everything stays fresh and crisp. They have onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and pickled jalapeños. I put lettuce, pickles, pickled jalapeños, tomato, and mayonnaise on my half of our burger. The bun was super fluffy and soft, because they get fresh handmade buns every morning, that not only have amazing texture but also amazing flavor. The burger was delicious! And we also got garlic fries to share, which were super soft, super garlic-y, and super good. After that I got a chocoflan for dessert. The flan was super soft and creamy, and the chocolate cake as so moist! It was also perfectly sweet!

My dad put onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on his half of the burger. And, asking what he thought of it is complicated, because he goes into this long description of it as he’s pacing around. The patty was 50% hamburger and 50% chorizo, but the chorizo was super thin, and there was no greasiness to it, which my dad really liked. He also really appreciates how you get a bare burger, so you don’t have to tell the waiter t hold the pickles, or stress about it if they give you too much or not enough of something. You get to choose the perfect amount of condiments and veggies. The bread is super soft and yummy, and it being freshly made everyday makes it so much better. Overall, both me and my dad think the food here is sooo good! A must go-to place!

Pancho Villa is a huge place, though it may not seem so at first glance. The thing is, they do have a quite large seating area indoors, but they also have an outdoor patio-type place that I didn’t even know about until today, and I’ve been here many times. Back there they have lots of tables and benches, many TV’s, a pool table, as well as one inside, a playground for kids, and a whole other set of bathrooms. So, for you parents who want to go have drinks and play pool, your kids can play on the swingset, the slide, and the little climbing wall. In the end, Pancho Villa is a really friendly restaurant, waiting for everyone and anyone to come. And, don’t forgot to mention Maya sent you and you’ll get 20% more wings with your order; for example when you order 10 you get 12, when you order 20 you get 24, 30 you get 36, and 50 you get 60.
