My Top 10 Restaurants I've Reviewed

My Top 10 Restaurants I've Reviewed

Here is a list of my top 10 favorite restaurants that I have visited so far:

  1.   Fabrica Del Hot Cake

Fabrica Del Hot Cake is a little restaurant in Ramblases that isn’t very noticeable, but the taste of the food is very notable. Despite the name, Fabrica Del Hot Cake serves so much more than just hot cakes, including many breakfast options, Mexican snacks, and seafood. The eggs benedict are the best my mom has ever had here in PV! To read more about it go here.

  1.   Tacos Leo

Another little place in Ramblases is Tacos Leo. They don’t have a Facebook. They aren’t marked on Google Maps. And they have no signs. So, you just have to be lucky enough to stop at it while your driving by. The tacos are delicious and the carne asada, or steak, is grilled on a charcoal grill and all the tortillas are handmade. Also, they have a huuuuge variety of salsas! One for everyone, I guess. Read more about it here.

  1.   El Huarache

There’s nothing like a warm, freshly cooked sandal. You may be confused by “sandal.” But yes, I mean sandal! Huarache means sandal in Spanish, and they are something like a thick, sandal shaped tortilla with some sort of meat or other topping piled on top. Huaraches are one of my favorite Mexican foods, and El Huarache is the best place to get them! They’re also the first ever Huarache restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, and they’ve been here since 1990! If you wanna read more about it go here.

  1.   Jean’s All American Hamburgers

There are many different types of burgers. Some are boiled, some are broiled, some are grilled, some are smoked, some are made with fine meat cuts, some are stuffed, some are tiny, and some are smashed. You don’t see smashed burgers very often here, but they are so good! Jean’s serves the best smashed burgers, and lots of different varieties. They are located in Marina Vallarta and even if it’s far for you, like it is for me, it’s totally worth it! To read more about burgers and Jean’s go here.

  1.   El Ataskon

Everyone likes ribs, because they’re tender, juicy, and delicious, and you can get them sweet, spicy, sour, and anywhere in between. Most ribs are good, but not all of them are great. The ribs at El Ataskon are super great! They have so many different flavors and the drive to Ramblases is totally worth it! Or you can order for delivery. It’s your loss if you don’t try these remarkable ribs. To learn more about them go here.

  1.   Sushiro

Sushi is normally very expensive, and half of the time you don’t even get quality food, but at Sushiro you get great food for a great price!! There are cheaper places than this, but they don’t have the quality that this does. Other sushi the same quality would be much more expensive, but here they have a few different rolls that you can get for under 100 pesos. If you want to learn more about it go here.

  1.   Cerveceria Chapultepec

Now, Chapultepec isn’t the place to go and get a full meal, but you can get full. Here they serve a variety of tiny plates of food and drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. And here’s the thing, everything on the menu costs just 21 pesos. Yes everything. And the food is actually really, really good! Read more about them and their prices here.

  1.   Tortalajara

Tortas are delicious! There’s no arguing that, because it’s so inclusive. There are so many types of tortas that there ought to be at least one favorite for everyone. My favorite tortas are tortas ahogadas, and my favorite place to get them is Tortalajara. The bread they use is a salty birote bread they get imported from Guadalajara fresh everyday, their meat is always super tender, the different salsas are always full and delicious, and the prices are so good! Learn more about them here.

  1.   Takelunch

Normally “healthy” food isn’t on my favorite list, but Takelunch is delicious! They have a giant menu of different healthy drinks and smoothies, and some different meals too! They have one special where you get a full healthy meal for only 70 pesos!! I don’t get food there very often, but I do get drinks a lot and I always love them. But I think you guys are interested in this place too, as it’s our most read food article! To learn more about Takelunch go here.

     10.   Breaking Bread

I haven’t gone to many bistros and places similar to bistros, such as cafes or sandwich bars, but a while ago I went to Breaking Bread, and it’s my favorite one that I have been to! The bread is super soft and all homemade! And all the sandwiches are special and unique. But on top of that it’s very cheap, and totally worth a trip! You can learn more about it here.
