Boys and girls from 7 to 12 years of age are invited to participate in the ecologic tours to raise awareness about the importance and care of our forest lands.
The Decentralized Public Organization (OPD) Bosque La Primavera, through its Directorate of Culture and Knowledge, invites boys and girls from 7 to 12 years of age to participate in the Naturalist Workshop of Bosque La Primavera. The invitation seeks to promote a meeting through recreational activities to awaken interest in the diversity of flora and fauna within the Natural Protected Area, and thus to educate and to contribute to its care, maintainence, and preservation.
The program of activities,which will begin at 9:00 in the morning and will end at 3:00 in the afternoon, includes a walk along the trails where they will be able to identify various species of flora and, through sounds, excreta, and footprints they will learn to recognize the wild fauna that inhabit the La Primavera Forest as well as observe the diversity of geological forms.
Attendees are recommended to wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes or boots, and a cap, and are advised to bring a notebook, pencil, colors, compass, magnifying glass, binoculars, and a whistle, in addition to wearing a mask and bringing antibacterial gel.
The dates are July 23 and 30, and August 13 and 20. The groups have a limited capacity of 15 members, so interested persons are invited to register in advance, or can obtain more informaiton by sending an email to:
