For many people who have lived in the cold ice skating is part of their Christmas, but being in Puerto Vallarta that part has had to be missed out on…. until now.
Thanks to Dean and Mitch from Puerto Magico, we will now have ice skating this Christmas! It started December 3rd, with an amazing performance, and there on out until January 8th the skating rink will be open to the public from 12 pm-12 am.
The performance was beautiful, with professional skaters from all over, coming together and performing a beautiful show using the soundtrack from “The Greatest Showman.” The costumes all were circus-themed, and they all looked quite nice together. They were even a couple people on stilts, and of course they weren’t skating but they were still performing, and it looked very cool. After the “The Greatest Showman” performance there were a couple different Christmas themed performances, some being purposefully funny, while some were beautiful.
After everything was over some kids went out on the ice, without ice skates, and I’ not sure what they were doing, but they were having fun! But, now skates will be available to the public, as well as the rink, for 220 pesos per half an hour, which is a little over a merely 10 bucks. So, come down to Puerto Magico! Enjoy some nice ice skating, and make the best out of it because it’ll only be here for around a month! I know me and my dad will be going all the time, and I also know my dad will come back black and blue every time.
