After being introduced to Christena Callahan, founder and president of Angels for Mexico, I was asked to film a video interview with her and Stan Gabruk.
Stan is the owner of Master Baiter’s, and he met Christena 14 years ago, so they’re close friends. And, because of Stan also being my dad’s close friend, Christena was more than happy to film the interview and talk about what’s most important to her. She talked about the different municipalities working together, equipment being shipped, different people involved, and much more. Talpa, which is one of the municipalities receiving equipment, doesn’t even have a fire truck. Not a single one! A friend of ours is from there, and what he says they do have is a pick-up truck with a hose and a couple 50-gallon drums, and that’s their supposed fire trucks. So, you can see how important Christena’s work is!
