Seapal Vallarta Gets Serious with Delinquent Accounts

Seapal Vallarta invites businesses and hotels to regularize their situation with the agency, or their services will be cut or restricted.

They continue to issue notices to users who have defaulted on their payments, whether they are for domestic, commercial, or industrial use.

In that sense, this Friday, October 8, the water operating agency made the notification of collection management and notice of cancellation of the drainage supply to the Hotel Marsol, SA de CV. The last payment received from that user dates from July 2, 2004, so after 17 years of suspension of payments for drainage and infrastructure services, the hotel is being required to regularize its situation, of which the debt amounts to more than 3 million pesos.

After months of ignoring various notices and notifications where the call to regularize their situation was made, Seapal Vallarta proceeded to send the last call to this commercial user, on Friday, October 8. It is the third notification that has been left at the hotel in recent weeks.

It should be noted that the same actions have been taken with other hotels and commercial or industrial users, but they have responded positively and have come to agree and regularize their situation with the agency.

With these actions, Seapal Vallarta seeks to eradicate omissions or acts of corruption that may have occurred in the past, either due to influentialism or cronyism.

Thus, Seapal Vallarta assumes the commitment to always act with legality and honesty, so it also invites its users to comply with the payment of their services received, or where appropriate, regularize their situation before the agency that will always adhere to the legality and established regulations.
