In order to start the preparations for the delivery-reception process, this Wednesday the acting mayor Jorge Antonio Quintero Alvarado met with the newly elected municipal president Professor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez.
They had their first meeting of approach to carry out a smooth and orderly transition without setbacks.
In a pleasant and cordial meeting, in which some collaborators of the current and elected mayor participated, the first agreements were made to start this process on June 30, concluding on September 30.
“It is the first approach with Professor Luis Michel. We agreed to start with delivery-receipt. We have already formed our team and he is about to form his. We were talking about different issues, economic and social, and the different areas of the town hall in which the teacher will be already intervening with his team,"said Quintero Alvarado at the conclusion of the meeting.
The interim mayor pointed out that it was a very cordial meeting in which the intention of working together to move forward with this process was made clear, "that there is not a bump, and that he has the necessary resources so that Professor Michel can continue the work."
Michel Rodríguez seconded what the interim mayor said about this first dialogue. “We are friends, everything is in order. He told us how (the administration) is, and how the municipal coffers prevail, and all the addresses and departments, and we will soon begin with the delivery-reception,”he said.
Quintero Alvarado added that the transition team is already ready to begin work on June 30, along with the team that will be made up of Professor Luis Michel, and from that moment they will have three months to analyze each of the areas of administration.
