Here is a schedule of the events (in Spanish):

The opening ceremony was held yesterday, with special guests Livestock Coordinator of Federal SADER, Arturo Macosay Córdova, Senator Antonia Cárdenas, Senator José Narro Cespedes, and president of the Livestock Commission María Refugio Camarena Jáuregui, who requested the support of all Jaliscan senators to compensate for fiscal changes that have harmed small farmers.

The head of Jalisco SADER, Salvador Álvarez García, was also present during the inauguration, and highlighted that the 300 million pesos channeled to the livestock sector in the last three years for promotion and improved infrastructure have been part of the historical budgets of the Jalisco Government towards this sector.

On behalf of Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, it was stressed that the sustainable approach with producers to address problems in the industry has been very important, as in the case of dairy farmers in recent months. The state official indicated that at this time five million pesos are in the release phase to support milk producers from Encarnación de Díaz.

He also confirmed that three million pesos have been labeled to support livestock farmers with the purchase of sire animals exhibited in the show, benefitting 150 beef cattle producers.

The president of the Jalisco Regional Livestock Union, Adalberto Velasco Antillón, recognized the good relationship that producers have with the State Government to move the livestock sector forward, especially considering the added circumstances of the health emergency crisis and its financial impact.

The first stage of the livestock show will be held from October 21 to 31, with the exhibition of Cebuinas, Brangus, Limousin and Italian breeds. It is also in this stage that the Quarter and Pinto horses will be exhibited, along with Pelifolk sheep, and when the XXXI National Limousin Exhibition is scheduled.
