SADER Finalizes Benefit Agreements with Producers from the Coastal Region

On a tour of several of the municipalities in the Coastal Region, the Jalisco Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER,) formalized the channeling of resources from official promotion programs to the producers.

The tour was led by the head of the office of the state agency, Salvador Álvarez García, who held meetings with organizations and producers to sign the official documents that grant state support, after the corresponding ruling guaranteeing finances was obtained based on the official calls and their operating rules.

“All the beneficiaries submitted their documentation in a timely manner. It is important to mention that the windows are open for all the producers who want to receive the support. But it is taken into account that applicants meet all the requirements that appear in the calls to be considered," said the state official.

He also stressed that "at the direction of Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, we bring the programs closer to this region to avoid them having to travel to Guadalajara.”

This supposes a channeling of 19 million pesos in support items and included 250 beneficiaries who are producers from the municipalities of La Huerta, Tomatlán, Villa Purificación, Casimiro Castillo and Cuautitlán de García Barragán.

The resources channeled were from official programs in matters of productive development, through the components of Minor Infrastructure for the Certification of Fruit and Vegetable Production Units, benefitting the sectors of livestock and dairy, sustainable agricultural production, renewable energy, conservation of natural resources, vulnerable groups, agricultural machinery, and strategic projects for productive development.
